How does a man handle that kind of anxiety?

Another Playbook begins…
Wes Lancaster has always followed one guideline for play. He never gets involved with anyone working for his professional football team, the New York Mavericks.
It hasn’t been a hard rule to live by.
Until Winnie Winslow, the new take-no-sh*t team physician.
She’s beautiful, intelligent—and has no problem taking control of every situation.
She pisses him off. She turns him on.
As tension builds and desire heightens, Wes finds himself wondering how much longer he’ll be able to follow his gameplan.
Review
‘She was so much more than most people knew, and many of her secrets were only for me.’
These novellas that Max Monroe put out between each book in the series are a great way to get a peek into what has happened to the characters we have fallen for and gives us a chance to really meet and love the ones in the next book. Cassis and Thatch, once again, were surprisingly sweet and deviously sexy all the while being extremely hilarious. Thatch is just perfection to me and Cassie’s wit and ability to call him out on any and everything is the perfect balance.
‘I fucking knew the kid complicated going there, but my dick didn’t want to hear it. He wanted her – I wanted her – and ignoring the kid seemed like the only acceptable compromise, for the time being.’
Te real treasure of Banking Her is getting to know Wes and Winnie more. The sexual tension is palpable and I am dying to see how it all plays out. Wes is serious and tense and Winnie is a no go for him because despite his intense attraction to her there is one line he won’t cross, the single mom line. But still they find ways to flirt and let the other know that they can’t go there but DAMN do I really want them to go there. Cannot wait for Scoring The Billionaire because if this tease is a hint it is going to be phenomenal.
