I am a huge fan of Brandy’s paranormal books and am starting fall for her contemporary as well. Falling star is fun, sweet, sexy and suspenseful and I enjoyed every minute of reading this story. While I am not usually a fan of books written in third person, Brandy’s stories grip you so much that I barely noticed.

Ella is new in town and on the run. Super skittish and worried that everyone in the small town will find out her secret identity as movie star Raven Star, she tries hard to keep to herself an avoid getting too close to anyone other than her longtime friend Mila. But once she catches the eye of the playboy firefighter across the street there is no way to escape what he does to her and what she does to him.
“Need you safe, Ella. Want you in my arms. I don’t want to let go. Please give me a chance to prove you’re the one I’ve been waiting for.”
I fully expected Trent to be a fun go with the flow play boy but what I got was a super protective alpha male who would lay down his life for those he loves. I loved him from the moment I met him and his gentleness and patience for Ella sealed the deal. If you love hot firefighters with alpha tendencies don’t miss this sexy contemporary.
