Synopsis

**Warning: this book contains an addictively filthy alpha male who will dampen your panties and own your days and nights. Proceed at your own risk.**

Meet Colton Drake

I have no idea why she auctioned off her virginity for a cool mill. Regardless, I’m now the proud new owner of a perfectly intact hymen. A lot of good that will do me. I have certain tastes, certain sexual proclivities. My cock is a bit more discriminatory than most. And training a virgin takes finesse and patience – both of which I lack.

Sophie Evans has been backed into a corner. With her sister’s life hanging in the balance, the only choice is to claw her way out, even if that means selling her virginity to the highest bidder at an exclusive erotic club. When Colton Drake takes her home, she quickly learns nothing is as it seems with this beautifully troubled man. Being with him poses challenges she never expected, and pushes her to want things she never anticipated.

A sinfully seductive erotic romance where everything has a price and the cost of love is the highest of all from New York Times & USA Today bestselling author, Kendall Ryan.

Review

EEEK!  Filthy Beautiful Lies is the very first book I have read by Kendall Ryan.  I feel like kicking myself!  What have I been waiting for?  It was so incredibly good.  I was hooked from the very first page and read it straight though in one sitting.  Needless to say, I will be adding all of Kendall’s books to my TBR!

Sophie’s twin sister has been sick most of her life and their family is struggling to stay afloat financially and can’t afford to treat her sister anymore.  Sophie decides to sell herself and her virginity to highest bidder to help her family.  This act in itself describes Sophie perfectly.  She is selfless, loving, kind, and innocent.

In another hour I will belong to someone – a man with sick needs and fetishes that propel him to purchase his companion rather than date a normal girl.  Heaven help me.

It wasn’t Colton’s plan to take a virgin home that night but he ended up with Sophie regardless.  I absolutely loved Colton.  I have to say that from reading the synopsis and the first couple of chapters of this book that I expected a really dark romance, but I got so much more.  Colton was a huge surprise.  He is so troubled but kind and patient.  Definitely a hot alpha- male, but still so damn swoony.  He won my heart as easily as he won Sophie’s.  He seems to have been burned badly and I wanted so much for him to overcome his past.

It is easy to see why Colton is drawn to Sophie.  They come from two different worlds.  Colton’s world consist of gold-digging women, loveless marriages, and broken promises.  He is drawn to Sophie and her selflessness; her ability to leave everything and everyone she loves to help her family.

She is fearless.  A woman worth knowing.

I feel like this book just had everything I love.  It was really romantic while still being super steamy.  The writing was clever and funny.  The characters were well developed and loveable.  I should also mention that I absolutely loved Colton’s brothers, Collins and Pace.  They were sexy, charming, and roguish.

Geez, they’re like a polo team – or an advertisement for male cologne, you know, one of those where they’re in white pants with bare feet sailing a yacht, smiling at you with gleaming, straight teeth.

Seriously, they need their own books, like yesterday.  The ending had a HUGE CLIFFY but I didn’t mind because the next book will be out very very soon.

My newly mended heart shatters into a million tiny pieces as everything I thought I’d gained in the last several weeks is lost again.

I am looking forward to Filthy Beautiful Love very much!  You have a new fan, Kendall Ryan.  Don’t worry, I stalk quietly.
